This is the seventh real test in this series, and the first one for Westwood — a neighborhood not yet covered elsewhere in this guide. Six practices came back, and the result surfaced a genuinely different kind of landmark anchor than any of the previous neighborhood tests, along with a couple of citation sources that hadn't shown up before.

A Genuinely Different Kind of Landmark: A University, Not a Tourist Destination

Every previous neighborhood test in this series anchored around a shopping district, a pier, or a business corridor. This one anchored almost entirely around UCLA. Multiple practices were described as being "in Westwood Village near UCLA" or "in the UCLA/Westwood area," and the response's own needs-based breakdown included a dedicated row for "Near UCLA / Westwood Village" specifically. This is a genuinely different population signal than tourist-driven Santa Monica or luxury-driven Beverly Hills — a university anchors this neighborhood's identity in a way nothing else in this series has shown yet.

New Platforms Entered the Picture: Birdeye and Zocdoc

Two review sources appeared here that hadn't shown up in any of the six previous tests. Birdeye, a review-aggregation platform, was cited directly for one practice's Google review total. Zocdoc — a healthcare-specific booking and review platform — was cited twice, once with a striking level of detail: "4.89/5 from 161 verified Zocdoc reviews, with 93% giving five stars." Healthgrades had been the primary dental-specific directory in earlier tests; this result shows the field of trade-specific sources an AI system might draw on is genuinely wider than any single test reveals on its own.

A New Level of Detail: Verified Reviews and Exact Percentages

The specific "93% giving five stars" figure is more granular than anything cited in earlier tests, which generally reported an aggregate star rating and a review count. Being able to cite an actual distribution, not just an average, suggests these platforms are being read closely enough to extract detail beyond the headline number — worth knowing if a practice has this kind of verified review breakdown available anywhere.

A First: A Business's Own Website Cited as Evidence

Every previous test in this series relied entirely on third-party sources — Google, Avvo, Healthgrades, Yably, Expertise. Here, for the first time, a practice's own website was cited directly: "its own site reports 4.9/5 from 83 reviews." This is worth treating carefully rather than as an invitation to inflate a number on your own site — the same honesty principle covered elsewhere in this guide applies here specifically, since a self-reported figure that doesn't match third-party data would be exactly the kind of inconsistency flagged as a red flag in an earlier test.

Confirming the Pattern: Needs-Based Organization, Again

The same structure seen in every dentist test so far reappeared: a table organizing practices by specific need — routine care, cosmetic work, anxiety-friendly care, a boutique practice, and proximity to UCLA each got matched to specific practices. This is now the fourth consecutive dentist test to use this exact structure, making it a genuinely reliable pattern rather than a one-off.
